Skin Tag, Mole & Wart Removal

Clearer-looking skin. Personalised assessment. Professional removal.

Skin tags, selected benign moles and warts are common skin concerns that can become uncomfortable, catch on clothing or affect confidence. At Pearl Skin Clinic, each lesion is assessed before treatment so that the most appropriate removal method can be recommended.

What Is a Skin Tag?

A skin tag is a small, soft, harmless bump that typically attaches to the skin with a thin stalk. Skin tags usually grow on the body where skin rubs against skin or against clothes at the neck, underarms, under the breasts, eyelids, or in the groin area.

Generally harmless, but can be removed if they become a nuisance, if they repeatedly get caught in clothes or jewellery, or for cosmetic purposes.

A skin tag is evaluated first for neck skin tag treatment or underarm skin tag treatment, and skin tag removal is performed on the face around the eyelids only if the skin tag is deemed appropriate for removal in the clinic.

What Is a Skin Mole?

A mole (aka naevus) is a cluster of pigment-producing cells that form a growth, usually pigmented or skin-coloured. Moles can range in size, shape, colour and can be flat or raised.

The vast majority of moles do not pose any danger. New, changing, irregular, bleeding, itchy and suspicious moles, however, should be reviewed medically prior to cosmetic removal. The only lesions suitable for cosmetic removal should be removed at the clinic.

What Is a Skin Wart?

A wart is a small flesh growth due to the infection of certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts can be rough, raised, or thickened and can be found on the hands, fingers, feet, face, and other parts of the body.

Certain warts go away on their own; others do not go away, will spread, or can be uncomfortable. Treatment may be indicated based on the nature, site, and specific factors.

What is the best treatment for enlarged pores?

Yes, many non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments may help refine pores, improve skin texture, and reduce congestion with minimal downtime.
Excess oil production, ageing, reduced collagen, genetics, acne-prone skin, and environmental damage commonly contribute to enlarged pores.
Results vary depending on treatment type and skin condition. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal skin texture improvement.

Microneedling vs Chemical Peels

When it comes to improving skin texture and overall skin quality, microneedling and chemical peels remain two of the most popular non surgical treatments. Both can help refresh the skin, but they work in very different ways.
